Overture is the partner wine to Opus One, designed to express the estate with an earlier-drinking personality. The 2022 vintage is especially important to identify because earlier Overture releases drew on several harvests.

The Producer

Overture is the companion Bordeaux-style red to Opus One, built using estate fruit and winemaking resources from Napa Valley.

Place & Terroir

The 2022 Overture reflects Cabernet Sauvignon-led vineyards in Oakville; the producer now offers vintage-labelled Overture alongside the wine’s earlier multivintage history.

Perfect Pairings

Roast lamb, grilled beef, wild mushrooms or a savoury slow-cooked dish.

Serve around 16–18°C, with air for youthful structured bottles.
