Château Haut-Monplaisir is the Cahors estate of the Jouffreau family, with an emphasis on Malbec from southwestern France.

Place & Terroir

Cahors’ terraces and limestone-clay sites produce Malbec with firm structure, dark-fruit depth and an earthy, savoury dimension.

Perfect Pairings

Grilled beef, braised lamb, wild mushroom pasta or aged cheeses.

Serve around 16–18°C; decant if the wine seems closed.
