Gaspereau Riesling

The Gaspereau Riesling is made from 100% Nova Scotia Riesling harvested from three different vineyards: the Gaspereau Estate in the Gaspereau Valley, the DenHaan vineyard, on the base of the North Mountain in the Annapolis Valley and the Fox Harb’r vineyard on the North Shore in Nova Scotia. It shows a distinct minerality combined with classic apple and floral notes with hints of earl grey tea aromas. The aromatics on the nose allude to a classic Riesling palate; one that achieves balance between vibrant acidity and just the right touch of sweetness. True to the impression given on the nose, the palate reveals a freshness and minerality that only Riesling grown in a cool climate can achieve. Riesling finishes with a refreshing acidity, a lingering apple and mineral note and a balanced sweetness, making this off dry wine perfectly food-friendly.
