Compass Hell Isle Cask Reserve

Named after a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia’s south shore, Hell Isle Cask Reserve pays tribute to our regions history in the rum trade and the unique tropical flavours found in Caribbean origin rums.

Crafted from scratch using Crosby’s molasses at Compass’ distillery in Halifax, this dark rum is meticulously distilled twice in Vendome still, and aged in new oak and ex-bourbon barrels for one to four years. Mature casks of the highest quality and complexity are selected by the distillers, which are carefully blended and allowed to rest for several months before bottling.

Notes of tropical fruit, banana, brown sugar and vanilla marry delightfully with oak, spice and a gently warm finish.
